Connecting our love for children, passion for creating, and vocation as teachers--Lilla was established. Now we have the opportunity to partner with littlethings, a nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering the education of Congolese girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo. 

Countless Congolese girls grow up without a formal education. For less than twenty dollars a month, a girl in the Congo can earn an education. Yet with many Congolese families living on less than thirty dollars a month, there are very few opportunities for these young women.   

How can you be a part?  With your help, we will be able to send these young women to school and give them a lifetime of opportunities we wish for all of our children.  A percentage of all online sales will be donated to littlethings.  For every hairclip or headband you purchase, you will send a Congolese girl to school. All it takes is the purchase of one hairclip, and Lilla donates a portion of your payment to allow a girl to go to school for half a day. Purchasing two hairclips allows a girl to go to school for a whole day.  Additionally, your purchase of a headband allows a Congolese girl to go to school for a whole day.      

Together we have the chance to make a significant difference in the life of a little girl.  Littlethings believes that "everybody has something little to contribute."
